DREAMS KILLED YOUNG
(In the picture above) Ultra-Orthodox Jewish men carry the body of one of the victims of the Nariman House attack during the funeral in Jerusalem on Tuesday. Thousands of mourners turned up to bid farewell to the six Jews killed in the strike. Meanwhile, Sandra Samuel, the Indian nanny who rescued Jewish toddler Moshe Holtzberg from the clutches of terrorists, may be conferred the ‘Righteous Gentile’ award, a top Israeli honour reserved for saviours of Jews from the Holocaust.
India open to military action against Pak (TOI, Mum, 03Dec08, Pg 1)
New Delhi: India on Tuesday said it would not rule out the military option to deal with the continued terror threat emanating from Pakistan in what marked a significant toughening of posture following the Mumbai attack.
Highly placed sources in the government said New Delhi was contemplating putting the peace process on hold if Islamabad didn’t respond adequately to India’s demands for verifiable action against those behind the attack on Mumbai and on a list of wanted terrorists. Significantly, official sources emphasized that the military option was on the table, contradicting reports that foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee had earlier in the day ruled out such a course of action.

Slump In West Reshapes Marriage Market Here
WHEN Neha Shah’s parents zeroed in on a bridegroom based in India, disregarding at least three suitors based in the West, the choice took her by surprise.
For the US-born Ms Shah, and thousands like her born to Indian parents based in the country or living overseas, the ‘arranged marriage’ drill is a familiar one. Typically, Indian parents prefer US and UK-based grooms for their daughters, convinced they are securing the future of their offspring.
But the credit crunch and the resultant economic gloom sweeping across much of the western world is not just causing a meltdown in financial markets; India’s marriage market too is seeing a meltdown in long-held beliefs — a ripple effect of the recession in western economies.

Investment & Wealth Creation Advice:
As indicated by us a few weeks ago, Sensex has come down substantially. It is expected to go down further by about 1000-2000 points in the next few weeks. However, nobody can ever predict how much it will go down further.
You should now consider making systematic investments over the next few weeks after taking investment expert's advice. If you are planning to invest amount X in the next couple of months in equity shares / mutual funds, then invest 10% of the amount now, as the market may go down further. After a week or so, you could invest another 10% and so on.
If you make investments in the right shares and mutual funds when the market is at 10000 or lower levels, you can expect minimum 20% (post-tax) compounded annual returns in the next 3 years.
